4.1 Open Enrollment Period

Annual open enrollment for the Retiree Health Plan is November to December. During the open enrollment period, you are permitted to change your medical plan. For example, if you are currently enrolled in the Kaiser Permanente HMO, you may switch to the UnitedHealthcare HMO.

If you change your plan during open enrollment, it will be effective the following January 1.

You will receive a notice each year from the Administrative Office regarding your annual open enrollment period. If you make a change, you will receive written confirmation of the change.
